The winners of the 2024 Roger Kaufman Exemplary Community Agency Award and the Jack Gant Innovative Community Program Award were announced at the May 7th United Partners for Human Services annual conference. Presented by the 21st Century Council, the Florida State College of Education, Health and Human Services and UPHS, the awards recognize with cash gifts the accomplishments of local social service providers use of data in planning and evaluation and innovative programs.
The 2024 Jack Gant Award went to Capital Tea for their TEA HAUS, a safe house for at risk transgender individuals.
The 2024 Roger Kaufman Award was given to Independence Landing for its Culinary Training Program for disabled adults.
